I'm waiting for the Ford commercials... "Toyota is first in initial quality. Initial quality being the first two weeks."

Bummer, I hope they figure out all these issues soon - Toyota has traditionally set the standard in quality, alongside Honda.

just as a heads up, toyota has stopped selling 8 of its top selling cars. here they are

1. 09-10 RAV4

2. 09-10 Corolla

3. 09-10 Matrix

4. 05-10 Avalon

5. 07-10 Camry

6. 10 Highlander

7. 07-10 Tundra

8. 08-10 Sequoia

because they have not found a remedy for the sticking gas pedal problem. if such a thing happens to in a car with a jammed throttle you follow these steps

1. dont panic

2. PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL!!!! if you turn off the car completly you run the risk of not being able to steer because cars have steering locks on them when the engine is off meaning that you lose all steering. but when you have the car in neutral, the engine will just ping off the rev limiter and you will have full control over the car steering and brake wise.

3. Pull over at a appropriate place.

4. Turn off the car.

5. Call for help/assistance.
